Integration Architect

Sporting Solutions is looking for an experienced Integration Architect. We are the world’s leading sports spread betting and quantitative pricing company. Last summer we set up a new department – Trading Services – which is focussed on improving our real time pricing and sports trading capability.

We are currently in the process of building out our next generation Cloud based sports pricing platform. This allows sports traders in other gaming companies to use our real time quantitative models over the web to predict the outcome of a wide range of sports events in real time.
As a result of strong commercial interest in the platform we are looking to build up our Integration team who are responsible for helping our B2B customers consume the output from our Cloud trading/pricing tools and publish them directly into their real time trading systems and bet engines.

Your role will be to act as the technical delivery lead between our API team (which is built on REST/HATEOAS and AMQP) and our customer’s engineering teams. You will be responsible for designing and delivering all the technical steps required to get our customers up and running as quickly and smoothly as possible with our real time price service.

We are looking for somebody who is:
• Well versed in online gaming platforms, such as OpenBet or Finsoft, or has experience working on client side integration projects.
• Technically strong with a solid understanding of REST, web principles as well as AMQP and a good understanding of Java and .Net languages.
• Has a good technical understanding of the sports betting industry.
• A strong communicator – this role is a high profile, client facing position.
• Calm under pressure and able to focus on delivering a quality solution for our customers.
• Ideally we would like you to have experience of managing a small, two or three man, development team.
