Technical Integrations Lead

Sporting Solutions is looking for an experienced pre sales technical lead. We are the world’s leading sports spread betting and quantitative pricing company. Last summer we set up a new department – Trading Services – which is focussed on improving our real time pricing and sports trading capability.

We are currently in the process of building out our next generation Cloud based sports pricing platform. This allows sports traders in other gaming companies to use our real time quantitative models over the web to predict the outcome of a wide range of sports events in real time.
As a result of strong commercial interest in the platform we are looking for a pre sales technical lead to assist our Business Development Director and CTO on client facing visits. You will also lead our Integration team who are responsible for helping our B2B customers consume the output from our Cloud trading/pricing tools and publish them directly into their real time trading systems and bet engines.

We are looking for somebody who is:
• A strong, confident communicator who is passionate about sports, gaming and cloud technology and able to deal assuredly with CEO/CTO level and senior technical staff.
• Well versed in online gaming platforms, such as OpenBet or Finsoft, and a good technical understanding of the sports betting industry.
• Technically strong with a personal interest in making sure you keep up with the latest trends. Ideally with a solid understanding of REST, web principles as well as AMQP and a good understanding of Java and .Net languages.
• Commercially savvy and able to assist our Business Development Director and his sales team in working out the best business solution for our customers.
• Calm under pressure and able to focus on delivering a quality solution for our customers.
• Management experience of leading technical teams.
